The Taipei District Court held its first hearing today. Huang L\u00fc-jin-ru, who had originally pleaded not guilty, immediately changed her plea to admit all charges after just ten minutes. Her lawyer, citing her advanced age, requested bail for her release. However, prosecutors believe that Huang L\u00fc-jin-ru&#039;s detention remains necessary, as co-defendant Lai Yi-ren, who will be summoned this afternoon, has denied any wrongdoing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Attorney Liu Yiling of Fidelity Law Firm stated that Huang Lu Jinru had previously pleaded not guilty in the ghost-signed forgery case, but may have changed her plea today to guilty in an effort to secure bail. However, since co-defendants Lai Yiren and others continue to deny any wrongdoing, the defendants&#039; statements remain inconsistent. Given Huang Lu Jinru&#039;s influence, the possibility of collusion or destruction of evidence cannot be ruled out if bail is granted.
