It is suspected that this was because their home signal was poor and they suspected that Ko Wen-je had run away, which caused them to have poor sleep quality. Chen Pei-chi also accused the Taipei Detention Center of poor living conditions and the lack of toilet lids in the cells, which caused Ko Wen-je to be infected with HPV. A full-body health check has been scheduled for next week. In response, the Taipei Detention Center used stainless steel utensils to hold food for personal hygiene and to reduce sharing of food with cellmates. In the future, the environment will be improved to protect the rights of inmates.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Li Yusheng, an attorney at Fidelity Law Firm, explained that in detention centers, when inmates are changed, the detention center administrator may perform a simple cleaning of the room, but the inmates are still responsible for the main cleaning work. If an inmate feels the toilet or other fixtures in the room are dirty, they can purchase cleaning supplies and clean them themselves.
