She is currently suspended from office. However, she denied the crime and appealed. Today (the 16th), the second instance verdict was announced, reversing the acquittal on the embezzlement part. She was also sentenced to 6 months for causing public officials to make false records, which can be commuted to a fine of NT$180,000.
