Today (the 16th), the High Court announced its second-instance verdict, overturning the embezzlement charge against Kao Hung-an and sentencing her to 6 months in prison for forgery, which can be commuted to a fine. The key point is that the High Court judges believed that the assistant fees of the Legislative Yuan were a substantive subsidy for legislators and had room for flexible use.
