Today (December 24th) is also the last time that Taiwan People&#039;s Party Chairman Ko Wen-je will defend himself in court. He reiterated that he knew nothing about the Core Pacific City case. Ying Hsiao-wei, on the other hand, broke down in tears when she got emotional and even suggested that the judge use a guillotine to behead prosecutor Lin Chun-yen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\">Attorney Liu Yiling of Fidelity Law Firm stated that the judge will consider the substantive evidence rather than the process of Ko Wen-je&#039;s criminal act. In the final statement during the criminal trial, the defendant should present substantive arguments such as the lack of criminal liability or positive evidence. However, Ko Wen-je used this opportunity to criticize the prosecutor and even the president. These comments are irrelevant to the facts of the case and will not be considered by the judge.
