Although the post did not name names, it is widely speculated that it refers to Ko Wen-je. In response, Ko Wen-je stated today (24th) that his mother, a party member, felt unwell after surgery and asked him to check on her, emphasizing that he did not pressure her. However, the fact that someone not from the hospital was present at the nursing station late at night has raised suspicions of power politics and bullying. Shin Kong Hospital responded that explanations of medical conditions should be conducted during daytime medical hours by the attending physician&#039;s team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Attorney Li Yu-sheng of Fidelity Law Firm stated that night-on-call doctors are usually not the patient&#039;s attending physician and cannot fully understand the patient&#039;s condition and treatment plan. If the patient&#039;s family needs to discuss the matter with the doctor, they should do so according to hospital regulations and with the attending physician. If Ko Wen-je was entrusted by the patient&#039;s family to request an explanation of the patient&#039;s condition from a non-attending physician on night, it may constitute an abuse of power to
