Last March, he fatally stabbed Liang, leading to his indictment by the Taipei District Prosecutors Office and trial at the National Judges Court. This afternoon (30th), he was sentenced to life imprisonment for murder and deprived of his civil rights for life. However, this outcome was unacceptable to his family, who wept in court. Zeng Zhixin attended the sentencing hearing at the Taipei District Court this afternoon. During the trial, he frequently played the victim card, saying that he knew he deserved to die, but hoped that people would not believe he was a boss who bullied his employees. He said he would serve his sentence well in prison and reflect on his actions, hoping the judge would give him a chance to reform and repair the damage he had caused. The deceased&#039;s wife wept upon hearing the verdict, as she had hoped the judge would sentence him to death. The judge considered that Tseng Chih-hsin acted out of suspicion without verifying the facts, and that he suffered from adjustment disorder, anxiety, and depression at the time of the incident. He had reached a settlement with the family afterward, but they did not forgive him, which is why he was sentenced to life imprisonment and deprived of his civil rights for life. Now that the verdict has been delivered, Tseng Chih-hsin has successfully escaped the death penalty, and whether the prosecution and defense will appeal has become the focus of attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Attorney Li Yusheng of Fidelity Law Firm stated that the evidence of the murder in this case was clear.
