Consumer protection officers and health officials from New Taipei City conducted a surprise inspection of the Banqiao branch to confirm refund matters. However, a former employee also came forward to accuse the company of requiring employees to post reviews and of delaying salary payments. Although the equipment manufacturer had informed them that installing surveillance cameras was illegal, legal experts analyzed that to become a witness for prosecution, one must be helpful to the case, but given the clear evidence of criminal activity, the chances are slim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Attorney Hsu Wan-wei of Fidelity Law Firm stated that a cooperating witness can only be appointed if they assist in clarifying the case, provide crucial evidence of the crime, and the prosecutor deems their testimony substantially helpful to the case. In this case of voyeurism, the suspects may be guilty of offenses such as invasion of privacy and child sexual abuse. The evidence is currently relatively clear, and the installation of surveillance cameras in that space is illegal. Therefore, even though the man surnamed Hsieh warned that his actions were illegal, his contribution to clarifying the case is limited, and the prosecutor may not agree to appoint him as a cooperating
