However, he not only mispronounced his lawyer&#039;s name on camera, but the handwritten manuscripts released by the foundation were also illegible, and he even publicly distanced himself from close relatives. It is understood that Ma&#039;s eldest sister, Ma Yi-nan, has formally filed for a &quot;defense order&quot; to protect the former president, and the Taipei District Court will also commission Taipei Veterans General Hospital to conduct a mental evaluation. Ma Ying-jeou publicly clarified that this can at most be used as a reference by the judge and may not have any substantial legal effect. If the evidence collection and psychiatric evaluation process proceeds smoothly, a ruling is usually made within 3 months.
