The internet celebrity "Goodnight Chicken," who just returned to Taiwan this month after serving two years in a prison sentence in Cambodia, seems to have learned his lesson. Last night (Saturday), he broke into an abandoned hospital for a live-streamed adventure! Surprisingly, after only an hour of streaming, police arrived on a tip and took him to the police station. "Goodnight Chicken" later admitted that he knew doing this in Taiwan was risky and that he would be moving his career abroad in the future. He was heavily criticized by netizens for not learning his lesson.

Attorney Li Yusheng of Fidelity Law Firm stated that unauthorized entry into another person's building may constitute the crime of trespassing, punishable by imprisonment for up to one year, detention, or a fine of up to NT$9,000. If the offender has a prior conviction and has been serving a sentence within the past five years, they may be considered a repeat offender, subject to a heavier sentence. Even if they are not considered repeat offenders, the judge may consider the circumstances and severity of the crime to impose an appropriate sentence.
