The case of the voyeuristic filming at the Guangze Clinic is not over yet! Police launched a search on the 7th, taking two clinic managers in for questioning. Both were subsequently detained on the 9th due to their significant involvement. Even five of the clinic's construction workers were taken in for questioning on suspicion of assisting in dismantling the equipment and destroying evidence. They were released on bail of NT$500,000 late on the 9th. Police do not rule out a further search operation.

Attorney Li Yu-sheng of Fidelity Law Firm stated that if the person in charge is suspected of knowing or ordering the recording, they will be considered an accomplice to the crimes of violating privacy and unauthorized recording of sexual images, along with the employees. If the victims are minors, it constitutes a serious offense under the Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation Act. The person in charge is currently overseas, and the prosecutor has issued an arrest warrant after failing to appear in court. Legally, the clinic argues that it did this to "avoid medical disputes," but since the clinic is a highly private space, recording with a pinhole camera without consent is a serious violation of the Personal Data Protection Act and privacy rights, and lacks legal legitimacy. In addition to facing criminal prosecution and substantial civil damages, the Ministry of Health and Welfare can also legally order the clinic to cease operations or revoke its business license.
