Attorney Li Yu-sheng of Fidelity Law Firm stated that using AI to swap faces or create indecent images constitutes the crime of "creating false sexual images" under the Criminal Code, which carries a maximum penalty of five years imprisonment. If the victim is a minor, it also violates the Child and Youth Sexual Exploitation Prevention Act, which carries a maximum penalty of seven years imprisonment. If such an incident occurs, victims are advised to immediately "take screenshots as evidence, save the website address," and report the incident to the police to protect their rights.
