In practice, the timing, recipient, and content of the donation during the live broadcast should be examined, including whether it was combined with campaign propaganda and whether it requested support for a specific candidate. It is crucial to verify whether the recipient is a voter in the relevant election and whether there were arrangements to provide voter benefits through intermediaries. All risks cannot be dismissed simply because "the person receiving the money isn't in my constituency," nor can a charitable donation be automatically considered a crime.
