An employee in Taipei was instructed by his boss’s wife to keep her Mercedes car while he was abroad, but he drove it to Nantou for a trip without permission and even damaged the car! However, the court held that the employee took the initiative to inform the vehicle of its usage status, took the car for repairs, and did not take possession of the Mercedes-Benz, so it was found not guilty.
