Two years ago, a New Taipei man surnamed Lin illegally sold online a workbook published by the High Point cram school. Not only was he sued by the cram school, but prosecutors also charged him with violating the Copyright Act. Unexpectedly, before the court's first-instance verdict, Lin forged the signature of the High Point cram school's agent, forging a false withdrawal of the lawsuit and mailing it to the court.
