Li Keyi, a fake lawyer who was once suspected of purchasing a headquarters building in Farglory and defrauding Zhao Fujixiong and his son, was revealed last year that he clearly had no lawyer qualifications, but used legality to cover up illegality, and found a legitimate lawyer Wu Lingyun to open a law firm in partnership to handle legal cases in Taipei. The prosecutor's office officially concluded the investigation today (5/7) and prosecuted him for violating the Lawyers Law.

Lawyer Li Yusheng from Fidelity Law Firm said that if you are not qualified as a lawyer but claim to be a lawyer or even solicit legal business, this is a violation of the Lawyers Law and will lead to relevant criminal liability. If you want to confirm whether a person is a lawyer, it is recommended that you go directly to the Ministry of Justice lawyer inquiry website. If you cannot find the name on the website, that person must not be a qualified lawyer in Taiwan.
