A well-known milk tea shop in Taipei has recently been embroiled in a trademark dispute. The e-commerce platform MOMO believes the shop's trademark is misleading and has filed a trademark opposition, arguing that MOMO should revoke the trademark. The milk tea shop stated that the brand was created after they tasted delicious milk in Hokkaido and wanted to bring it back; the inspiration came from the sound of a cow mooing, and it has nothing to do with MOMO. The matter has been handed over to lawyers.
