Jiekou Payment, the leading domestic electronic payment company, and its parent company Jiekou Financial Technology, were shocked to be sealed off. It was learned that Taishan Company had previously filed a lawsuit for NT$3.6 billion but was unable to seek compensation, so the Taipei District Court executed the sealing procedure on the 11th. Since Jiekou Payment has 6.58 million users and is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jiekou Financial Technology, whether the sealing action will affect user rights in the future has attracted much attention.
Li Yusheng, a lawyer at Fidelity Law Firm, said that in this case, Jiekou Payment's parent company, Jiekou Financial Technology, sold Jiekou Payment's equity to Taishan Company, but the court ruled that the transaction was invalid, so Taishan Company requested the return of the purchase price and applied for the seizure of the assets of the parent company, Jiekou Financial Technology. However, this seizure auction is aimed at Jiekou Payment's parent company. Since the finances and operations of the parent company and its subsidiaries are separated in principle, the rights and interests of Jiekou Payment users should not be affected for the time being. However, due to disputes among shareholders, whether it will have a negative impact on Jiekou Payment's operations in the long run remains to be seen.

It is recommended to compile contracts, quotations, invoices, remittance records, chat logs, payment reminders, and proof of damage.
An assessment can be made, but the evidence of the debt, the amount requested, the court with jurisdiction, and whether a preliminary attachment or payment order is required must be confirmed first.
Lawyers can assist in assessing the odds of winning a lawsuit, preserving assets, negotiating strategies, and subsequent enforcement, thus preventing situations where a judgment is obtained but no money is received.
