TSMC recently announced that it has filed a lawsuit against former Senior Vice President Luo Weiren, who retired and joined Intel. Intel also issued a statement on the 26th, stating that it strictly prohibits the use or transfer of any third party's confidential information or intellectual property rights. Based on the information currently available, there is no reason to believe that the allegations against Luo Weiren have any basis. Intel welcomes Luo Weiren back to Intel and emphasizes that cross-company talent mobility is not only common but also a symbol of a healthy industry, and this situation is no exception.

Moreover, even if Luo Weiren were to work for a competitor, it wouldn't immediately prove he stole trade secrets; supporting evidence would be needed, but collecting such evidence is also quite challenging.
