Artist "Big Ya" Zhou Yipei posted a Facebook post in June accusing her former boss Chen Jianzhou of sexual harassment, which aroused the dissatisfaction of "black man" Chen Jianzhou, who later filed a defamation lawsuit against him. Chen Jianzhou went to the Beijing Prosecutor's Office for questioning for the second time recently. Based on his statement and the testimony of relevant witnesses, the prosecutor believed that "Daya" PO had personal experience and had no intention of harming his reputation. Today (12/19), Zhou Yipei was not prosecuted.

Lawyer Li Yusheng explains the legal issues related to criminal defamation

Lawyer Li Yusheng from Fidelity Law Firm said that although the incident took place a long time ago, the Taipei District Prosecutor's Office summoned Da Ya's former manager, makeup artist, and friends to testify, all of whom testified that Da Ya was on a business trip with a black man in Hong Kong. , there was indeed emotional excitement and other situations, and it was determined that Da Ya's statement was probably true, and there was no deliberate fabrication of false facts. Therefore, Da Ya was deemed not to have constituted aggravated defamation, and therefore was given a non-prosecution sanction.
