1. Once a hospital or clinic encounters a medical dispute or medical dispute, it is recommended to handle it one by one according to the following steps:
(1) After a medical dispute occurs, it is necessary to find out as soon as possible whether there is any fault in the diagnosis and treatment process, and analyze the nature of the incident so that corresponding strategies can be adopted to deal with the medical dispute.
(2) Analyze the motive of the complainant.
(3) Stabilize complainants and buffer conflicts.
After a medical dispute, the hospital and its medical staff must treat it correctly. The first thing to do is to stabilize the mood of the complainant, buffer conflicts, and handle medical disputes coldly, without intensifying conflicts. Waiting for the patient or relatives to calm down before discussing a solution will be conducive to the resolution of medical disputes. For those patients and their relatives who make trouble without reason, if their work is ineffective and seriously affects the normal working order of the hospital, they should actively report to the superior authorities and, if necessary, ask the public security department to maintain the normal working order of the hospital.
(4) Doctors and patients can negotiate and mediate, reach an agreement, and resolve the dispute.
The premise is that both the doctor and the patient have the intention to resolve the matter after reaching a consensus through consultation.
2. If the two parties fail to reach an agreement, either the doctor or the patient may submit a request to the competent health administrative department for processing. Request a medical appraisal, and coordinate both parties to bear corresponding responsibilities based on the appraisal results. If a mediation agreement can be reached, the dispute will be resolved smoothly.
3. If you are not satisfied with the coordination, you can file a lawsuit in court.
