A tourist booked a day trip to Bali, Indonesia, through the well-known travel platform Klook. The advertisements touted beautiful beaches and luxurious speedboat transfers, but the tourist was forced to stay on the island for two hours, was extorted on the spot, and was even transferred from a large boat to a smaller one. Sailing on the dark sea felt like being smuggled! The tourist exclaimed that he almost thought he was going to die at sea.

Lawyer Li Yusheng from Fidelity Law Firm stated that the original large ferry was cancelled, and the journey was instead carried by a small speedboat with inadequate safety equipment. The change of docking location also resulted in an additional two hours of travel time, serious delays, and the replacement of the pre-ordered meals. Clearly, the quality of the entire trip has been significantly reduced, and the travel website has committed a serious breach of contract. Offering only a small percentage of cash refunds and points rewards is unlikely to compensate for the consumer's losses. If negotiations fail, the traveler can seek compensation from the travel website.
